Jesus, the Son of God, was born to a virgin and took to himself human flesh in order to make atonement for sin. During the Passion week just before his death, he taught in the temple. How did he show mercy to the Jewish leadership who sought to kill him; and how did he show mercy to the Jewish multitude who were ignorant of his true purpose as the Messiah?
