FAQ
Our mission is to glorify God as a local community of gospel-centered people who:
- Worship God only as He commands and in spirit and truth (Jn. 4:24; Acts 2:42).
- Serve one another by exercising our spiritual gifts (I Cor. 12:4-7; Eph. 4:11-16).
- Proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world (Mt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8).
- Live out a biblical worldview in all spheres of life (Jer. 29:7; Mt. 5:13-16).
We embrace a Reformed view of doctrine and worship—that heritage handed down from the 16th Century Protestant Reformation, which has been summarized in what are referred to as “The Five Solas”: Sola Scripture (Scripture alone), Sola Fide (faith alone), Sola Gratia (grace alone), Solus Christus (Christ alone), and Soli Deo Gloria (the glory of God alone).
- We believe the Bible alone is the inspired Word of God, inerrant, infallible and sufficient.
- We subscribe to the London Baptist Confession of 1689 as a faithful summary of what the Bible teaches.
- We affirm that Sunday is “The Lord’s Day” according to the Bible and that it is the Sabbath for the Christian era. This means that it is to be remembered and kept holy according to the principle of the fourth commandment.
- We view corporate worship as the center piece of the Christianˈs keeping of the Lordˈs Day.
- We practice the baptism of believers upon a credible profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
- We look forward to the personal, physical return of Jesus Christ to this earth.
- We are non-Pentecostal.
- We are ruled by a plurality of elders under the headship of Jesus Christ.
- We encourage the exercise of God-given gifts in service to others.
- We emphasize consecutive, expository preaching.
- We require of each other in our daily walk and conversation loyal obedience to all those moral precepts established in Godˈs Word and especially in the 10 commandments.

Listen OnlineMinistries
Our purpose at Grace Baptist Church manifests itself in a three-pronged approach to ministry–to promote reverent, God-centered worship of the sovereign, triune God who has revealed Himself in His Word, the Bible, to build up of God’s people in the truth of that Word, and to spread the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to our neighbors near and far who are yet outside of a saving relationship with Him.
